[TN-Bird] Hatchie Wildlife Refuge- Oneil Lake- Cackling Goose...

I birded Hatchie Wildlife Refuge, Oneil Lake, Haywood County, TN on January 26, 
2014 from 3:30 PM to 5:20 PM.
Canada Goose- numerousSnow Goose- two flyoversCackling Goose- 7; noticeably 
smaller bodied and billed than surrounding Canada Geese; grayer back feathers 
than the brown back feathers of a Canada GooseWood Duck- 14 visible between 
flooded corn fieldGadwall- estimated 190American Wigeon- 12Mallard- 
numerousNorthern Pintail- 5Green-winged Teal- 12Canvasback- 1Redhead- 
1Ring-necked Duck- 15Greater Scaup- 1; head smooth and rounded without any peak 
at the back while bird in a relaxed position; nail widened on the billHooded 
Merganser- 13Ruddy Duck- 1Bald Eagle- 2 adults; one perched, second flew in on 
top of the perched bird in what looked like mating
