The Hatchie BirdFest is this weekend, a combination of virtual
presentations, in person (with COVID-19 safe guidelines), and Facebook Live
field trips. Friday evening (5:00 central) is Richard Crossley and Holly
Merker, to discuss their newly published book Ornitherapy. This virtual
event requires a pre-registration at HatchieBirdFest.com. Birding has been
a bit slow in Haywood County, hoping it will pick up this weekend on the
