The Harris's Sparrow was very cooperative this morning at Bells Bend. It
was in the exact location as has been described, near the gray buildings and
hay bales off Old Hickory Blvd past the main entrance to Bells Bend Park.
When Kathy Shaw and I arrived about 9am another birder, Jackie Corbin, was
already there and pointed it out to us immediately. Thank you Jackie!
Excellent views and lighting. It was with a group of White-crowned
Sparrows. Flying back and forth across the road. On the ground and up in
the shrubs. Many song sparrows, field sparrows, some white-throats, swamp
sparrows and kinglets around too.
