Made the trek today to the GPS pinpoints and others near Bells Bend and I am
disappointedly reporting no luck with Harris' Sparrow. I met another birder
who said he saw it, but I could never get any glass on it. I made it here by
8:30am and canvased the area several times before throwing in the towel at 3pm.
I hope the bird truly is still around and others get to see it. I guess I
will have to find that bird some other distant day. The White-crowns were ver
cooperative and had two adult Bald Eagles flying over over.
