Sunday, January 22nd
Collierville, TN
I went over to Jay Walko's house and saw the Harris Sparrow. What a pretty
bird. This was a real treat on such a dreary and rainy day. Jay, I appreciate
your opening your house to let me sit at your kitchen table and wait for your
Sparrow to come out. Thank you.

We sat at his kitchen table for about an hour. The Sparrow came out from under
his deck and was about 15 feet from the kitchen window. Excellant viewing! The
bird hopped around in full view under his feeders for about five minutes and
was very accommodating and then it left as quickly as it appeared.
