Coincidentally, I saw my first of season Brown Creeper a little while ago in
Fairview, Williamson County. They must be creeping up on us!

I took my ornithology class out to Booker T. Washington State Park this
afternoon. While there, we got great looks at a Brown Creeper, which was the
first of the season for me. Among the other sightings were about a dozen
Common Loons, a few dozen Horned Grebes, a few Common Goldeneyes, and a raft
of about 60 Lesser Scaup.
