TN birders, After making one trip to Chattanooga this am, got a call from John Henderson this afternoon. saying he now had two Wilson's phalaropes at Brainerd Levee, and from the appearance of the plumage's, the two appeared different from the bird he had yesterday. I initially said I would not try again today, but later changed my mind, and ended up meeting Jan Chadwell and Libby Wolfe in the parking lot. Jan got on the birds first, as they were on the far side of the water behind the baseball field. We got to them about 4pm. Also, added yellow-billed cuckoo(FOY) to the morning list. Also, went to Standifer Gap Marsh to try for the yellow rail to no avail, but added northern mockingbird, wood duck, and eastern bluebird to the morning list.
