TN birders,
Spent the afternoon in the Chattanooga area running errands, getting my walking
in, and hit a few birding spots.? Managed a few good birds.

Standifer Gap Marsh-4 species of ducks-mallard, gadwall, northern shoveler, and
green-winged teal.? No BW teal or any swallow, and no rails.

Chester Frost Park-waterfowl included Canada goose, PB grebe, redhead,
ring-necked duck, bufflehead, mallard.? Adult bald eagle was feeding on the mud
flats just past the pay station past the first bridge, where I also got my FOY
brown creeper.? Pinky's Point nearby produced FOY Osprey on a nest on the
channel light tower seen from the point.

Hoping for BW teal or swallows at the Brainerd Levee, got neither.? However,
got my first ever for Hamilton Co dunlin which flushed from the levee side of
the main body of water behind Boyd-Buchanan School and landed at the end of the
narrow ditch that is perpendicular to the levee, and about the 0.6 mile marker
seen from the Shallowford end of the levee.? It was a winter plummaged bird.?
Savannah sparrows were numerous.
