Greetings after a long delay (computer died) this summer...A Great Egret was spotted two different places in Bedford CO this past Tuesday- one near a sod farm on HWY 64 outside Wartrace TN and the other on my pond I refer to as "Alex's Pond" near Cascade School on HWY 269. This was on Tuesday July 27th. This is unusual for us to have Great Egrets here yet at the same time I am usually on vacation during this time of yera, too...so, perhaps I have been missing them, anyhow. White-eyed Vireo, Chipping Sparrows, & White-eyed Vireos still vocal...had a Cooper's Hawk on Normandy Rd today and a Broad-winged has been calling off & on up the road from us (Rippy Ridge) Melissa Turrentine Bedford Co TN Normandy TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
