March 12, 2006 I observed the following today in brief birding trips through Greene County: Wood Duck (2); Wild Turkey (11); Great Blue Heron (10 on nests along the Nolichuckey River at the intersection of Jackson Hollow Road and Pate's Hill Road; this is the same site mentioned in my post of March 4, 2006); Loggerhead Shrike (Highway 348 0.3 mile west of McDonald Loop, in Beulah community); Swamp Sparrow (2).
