[TN-Bird] Great Backyard Bird Count

Hello Fellow Birders!
I want to remind you that the 8th annual  "Great Backyard Bird Count" is 
coming up again this Friday February 18 through Monday, February 21. The 
count is sponsored by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Audubon. It 
doesn't cost a dime, you don't have to register ahead of time, and anyone 
can participate. Just do what you already do: count birds. You submit your 
tallies over the Internet and you can even watch in real time as the 
results pop in from all over the U.S. and Canada. Everything you need to 
know about the count and how to take part can be found at 
<http://birdsource.org/GBBC>http://birdsource.org/GBBC. The site will also 
tell you how many reports from each state have been received in each of the 
last seven years and the numbers for each species sighted. In addition to 
being fun, it helps the Lab gather hard data about where the birds are, 
data that can be compared from year to year, region to region. Please 
participate, and tell your friends!
