I located a young Golden Eagle today near the MS River in Lake County. There
were 12 Bald Eagles, a Turkey Vulture, and a Red-tailed Hawk in a kettle near
the north end of Tiptonville Slough. As I was looking through my binoculars I
quickly noted that one eagle was not a Bald! I was able to get a couple of pics
of the bird before the kettle drifted out of sight to the northwest.
