After being notified by Jeff Lemons this afternoon I went back and looked at my
very poor distant pictures and compared them to the Marbled Godwit I had at
Rankin several days ago. I now have to agree the bird today appears to be a
Hudsonian Godwit. It is much more gray and appeared smaller than the Marbled
based both on my observations today and comparisons to the birds and nearby
Killdeer in photos.
This bird has an injured right leg.
