Well, at least one adult female harrier was in my mom's yard in the epicenter of
Farragut (western suburb of Knoxville), scandalizing the blue jays for perhaps
15
minutes, sailing between heavily overgrown yards just beneath the lowest tree
branches
and just above fences and hedges. Beautiful views of her gliding above the lawn
perhaps 45' from us, at shoulder height (mine, not hers) fm the ground; and good
