To: <tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> ** 2-8-2012 Nashville Davidson Co, very near Radnor Lake Terry Witt reported this morning that he saw a Common Redpoll coming to a feeder with a flock of Am. Goldfinches at 1101 Stonewall Jackson Ct. where birders Dennis and Sharon Monroe live. I just talked with Sharon and she spotted the bird while we were on the phone at 11:45. She welcomes any birders to come and look for it. They live at the end of the dead end street, so just park in front of the house and watch the front feeders. It was coming to a safflower feeder. Directions: From the west side of Radnor Lake go north on Granny White Pk. Stonewall Jackson Ct. will be the second street on the right (east). Follow the road up the hill to the end. *For people outside of Nashville, from I-65 south of downtown Nashville, take the Harding Place exit (78-B) and go west. Cross Franklin Rd. and turn left onto Granny White Pk. Go through the four-way stop and over the hill, and Stonewall Jackson Ct. will be on the left. * ** *Jan Shaw* *Nashville, TN*
