Hi folks, For anyone who might be planning a trip to Cades Cove, within Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the loop road in the cove will be closed from February 25 through March 3 for repairs. The message we recieved was unclear as to whether this is just closed to cars, or to all use, but unless you hear further, I recommend assuming it is closed to all use. Charlie ps - I'm just passing on news to folks whom I thought might be interested. Sorry if this isn't relevant to you, and PLEASE don't kill the messenger! ===== ************************************************** Charlie Muise, Senior Naturalist Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont Townsend, TN lat 35 deg, 38'23" long 83 deg, 41'22" "Do something.
