I just opened this from my friend Seth this morning and he said I could
post it to tn-bird. He and his wife saw and photographed this flycatcher at
Radnor Lake, Davidson Co. on Friday afternoon, Dec. 9. They have many other
photos if people are interested. The bird was seen along the Lake Trail
about 100 yards before (west) you get to the new, big deck which looks out
onto the lake. It was on the lakeside of the trail.

Hi Jan,
I hope you don't mind if I get your opinion. I saw a flycatcher in Radnor
two days ago. Someone on Whatbird.com thinks it is an Ash-throated
flycatcher. Wouldn't that be pretty uncommon here? Particularly this time
of year? Aren't most of the flycatchers uncommon in winter here, except the
phoebe?
