Dear Robbie,
In regard to your question about Sandhill Cranes using the Jasper-
Pulaski park?NWR area going northward .......
I don't know about going northward but on a trip to visit family in
Indiana in the first week of November of 1995 we went to the
Jasper-Pulaski area. About 2,000 Sandhill Cranes were in the
corn fields adjacent to the park area, assumed they were making
their way south at that time.

Yesterday--1-24-06, about 40 Sandhill Cranes were seen flying north over my
house at 4:45 PM, by my nephew, Jerry McGregor, who is my next door
neighbor.

Does anyone know if Sandhills use Jasper-Pulaski in Indiana as a stop over
on their migration North?
