We saw the Robertson County Fulvous Whistling-Duck when we arrived at the pond
at 6:50 a.m. CST today (Friday, May 19). It was sleeping at the north end of
the pond. We looked for it again at 7:50 a.m. and did not find it.
Other birds at the pond and across the road:
Dickcissel
Bobolink
Green Heron
Northern Bobwhite (heard)
Lesser Yellowlegs - one landed at the pond and was quickly harassed into
leaving by Common Grackles
Steve & Gail Clendenen
Farragut, Knox County
