My mother and I visited Frozen Head State Park (Morgan Co.) on Monday-4/21, as
we are both off work this week. We walked about halfway up the South Old Mac
trail and back. We had several FOS birds including a male BLACKBURNIAN Warbler
near the point we turned around at (not sure of elev.) Several birds including
3 FOS were seen just inside the woods from the trailhead parking lot.
Strangely, no Redstarts were seen. We also had around 20 wildflower species.
Numbers below are visuals--many more of most migrant sp. listed were heard
except Blackburnian, Cerulean, Tanager, and Gnatcatcher.

8:30-2:00:

Black and White Warbler - 4
Blackburnian Warbler - 1 m FOS
Black-Thr. Green Warbler - several
Cerulean Warbler - 2 m FOS
