3/11/06 Blount Co This morning shortly before 8am, I saw 4 RED CROSSBILLS at the upper end of Flats Rd near the Foothills Pkwy. I also heard perhaps 20 others. PINE SISKINS were still present on the road into the Top-O-World area. There is a large barn-shaped house on the right as you descend with multiple feeders around the back deck. There were well over 100 birds making quite a racket. On down the Foothills Pkwy before you come to the detour, there was a BLUE-HEADED VIREO singing aobut 9am.
