My mother and I visited Walker Springs Park (W. Knoxville) this morning and then birded the closed off area of road at the entrance of Foothills Parkway near US-321 (Blount Co.). It rained the whole time we were at the parkway but we still saw 2 mixed flocks - 1 at the gate and 1 past the bridge. I was surprised to here 2 different Chestnut-Sided Warblers singing for much of the 3 hrs we were there. There were a few more birds not listed below as they were moving to fast to ID.
