For those interested, a mistle thrush is being seen at a feeder in New
Brunswick. Details are available on ebird. This continues a pattern of
Europeans thrushes showing up in winter in the maritime provinces. Got my lifer
fieldfare in NE, New Brunswick on 2Mar91. These birds tend to stick around,
especially if berries are present. In the case of the fieldfare, birders from
all over Canada were mailing native berries to the host of the fieldfare in
1991.
