The Pace Point/Bennett's Creek Overlook trip was mostly successful with
A bonus DUNLIN and a SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER and 6 gull species early at
Pace Point (highlight 7 FRANKLIN'S GULLS that had recently arrived, and one
continuing adult LAUGHING GULL).
3 LECONTE'S SPARROWS (with one very cooperative) and a single mostly
uncooperative NELSON'S SPARROW at the field below the entry kiosk, entrance
road to Pace Point wrapped up the target species.
I think there are photos of both Leconte's and Nelson's, but the Nelson's
shots are all flying.
A GOLDEN EAGLE was seen by Joshua Stevenson early on, but not refound.
