I spent about an hour on the ridge near spoon shelter this morning. I got several good looks at the warblers and the sharp-shinned hawk, as they were almost eye level along the ridge. I did not see the yellow-bellied flycatcher, but heard the repeated call downthe southern slope, where there is a mixed hardwood, pine forest, with some fallen trees and slash area. I might add that I observed 3 E. Pewee's yesterday at close range for over and hour, and did not hear a single call from any of them, so I am fairly confident that I was hearing the Yellow-bellied.
