This afternoon Glen Criswell and I birded the Dyer and Lake County areas
around where we had the Fulvous Whistling Ducks and along with the
Satterfields spent a lot of time watching the ducks come in late in the
afternoon. Seven were seen altogether but we left the area at 6:00 to go
out on 79 and based on Saturday night's observation they did not come in
until after 7:00.

This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to add this bird to their
list because you can bring a chair and wait for them to come in.

Other birds of interest we had today were the same Ruddy Turnstone from
yesterday, and 1 Stilt Sandpiper at the same location at Lenox where Jeff
had it yesterday, 1 Female Bufflehead, 65 Black-necked Stilts including 38
at Owlhoot where the Fulvous Ducks are, 1 Greater Scaup, 1 Black Duck and
the Dunlins, White-rumped Sandpipers and Pelicans that Jeff had yesterday.
but no Willet or Baird's Sandpiper.
