Me, too. For different reason. The morning here by Marrowbone Lake was FULL
of bird songs, Chickadees, White Throated Sparrrows, A Mockingbird and a
finch or two!

The earliest I have heard the Waterthrush around here is about March 17.
I'll keep my ear tuned for my favorite.

Subject: [TN-Bird] FOY Louisiana Waterhtrush

Spring began for me this morning with the first arriving neotropical migrant
at our place in western Lewis County. I heard the distinctive Louisiana
Waterthrush chip from pretty close range, but it took me forever to locate
the bird. Every time I heard it, the direction seemed to change. So
finally I decided to look up, and there it was only about 5m away directly
overhead in a leafless sapling.
