[TN-Bird] FOS sapsucker & migrating monarchs, Knox Co., 10/05/2011

While not nearing as exciting as a possible Townsend's Warbler in my Knox
County back yard, I did observe my first-of-season Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
drilling sap wells into one of our maples around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon. I
also observed many Monarch butterflies migrating north to south across the
interstate and Kingston Pike on my way back from campus right before that.
