Sorry for this late post, busy doing other things...From my yard in Perry
County:
First of season Ruby throated Hummingbird showed up on 4.07.06 and made its
presence known by peeking in the windows, little devil. I was caught off guard
since their usual show up date for the past few years has been 4.11 faithfully.
I hurried up my dinner to cook up the sugar water for him and he's been here
since despite the cold lows (20's) we've had lately. Nashville can have a low
of 40, but here we freeze...dogwood winter. He's since been joined by another
male and the fights have begun. Another feeder has been put up in the yard
away from the first.

First of season warblers: on the evening of 04.09.06 from the windows looking
to the front woods I observed the following:

BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER
YELLOW-THROATED WARBER
BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER.
