These birds were found in areas that are not accessible to the public. There are areas where you can see the birds at the landfill, but they do not allow close approach. All four of these birds can be found more easily and much closer on the beach at Daytona Beach Shores in the late afternoon. The landfill is also amazing for Bald Eagles. There were 37 Bald Eagles just on the topmost crest of the highest point at the landfill and many others at other locations and in the air.
