Stan Wallace and I drove out to see the bird Friday, 12/28. We arrived at 2 pm and are pretty sure we saw it high in a neighbor's oak tree. We drove over to the parallel street closer to the oak and lost the bird. After returning to Walden Circle it showed up at the feeder at 2:25 and stayed a few minutes and was in the tree next to the feeder when we left at 2:40. Thanks for posting. So far it has been seen each day since 12/24. Prime time still tends to be from about 11ish to 2ish, but has gotten narrower over the past couple of days. I will be heading home this weekend so won't be able to provide much in the way of timely updates, but anyone still wanting to try is welcome. I'm glad it has been around long enough for folks to see it, hopefully more will show up later this winter! Directions: http://goo.gl/maps/MH10k John Trent
