We found one Eurasian Collared-Dove on Harris Road in southwestern Loudon
County at 0850 today, Sunday, March 6. It was perched on a wire at the
cattle feeding trough which is at the road edge about 1/10 mile north of
Washington Pike. Larger and paler than a Mourning Dove; black collar; long
broad tail; no black spots on wing coverts. It shortly flew off to the
northeast.
