A pair of Bluebirds raised 3 broods of young in a box in the yard here last
year. They had started a new nest when House Sparrows took it over. I emptied
that nest but the sparrows returned. I see Bluebirds around but it seems they
want no part of the nest box now and the Sparrows are still around too. Saw one
going in and out of the box today.
Any suggestions on how to discourage the darn Weaver Finches and get the
Bluebirds back?
