Friends,

You may have heard that Congressman Pombo of California is sponsoring
some changes to the Endangered Species Act.

Today I called my congressman, Jimmy Duncan, to learn his opinions
and to express mine.

In order to not offend anyone with politics, I am not going to give
details here.

However if you are interested in hearing about this, please email me.

On a more birdy note, Paul Super reports that migratory flocks of
warblers started showing up at Purchase Knob (5000 feet, Haywood
County, NC) a little over a week ago.

Sincerely,

Charlie
