[TN-Bird] Eagle Bend hatchery - shorebirds

TN-birders,
Dollyann & I made a quick run out to Eagle Bend fish hatchery in Anderson
County about noon today. We found:
Killdeer – 80
Solitary Sandpiper – 1
WESTERN SANDPIPER – 2: these were the first westerns we have had out here in 4
years.
Least Sandpiper – 4
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1
Check the drained ponds for the shorebirds, especially if the bottom of the
pond is wet or damp.
No sign of the Great Egrets or Little Blue Heron that was out here a week ago,
but then again it was the middle of the day.
