During a field trip from the TOS 100th anniversary celebration to Duck
River Unit NWR. We had 13(I think) people and 82 species. I will post
the full checklist soon but for now here are the highlights: (5/3/15)
Glossy Ibis 1 (Picture to come)
Osprey 8
Mississippi Kite 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk 1
Bald Eagle 8 (Give or take)
Sora 1
American Coot 30+
American Golden-Plover 2
Gray-cheeked Thrush 1
Gray Catbird 1
Northern Waterthrush 2
Blackburnian Warbler 1 (Adult Male, breeding plumage)
Chestnut-sided Warbler 1
Palm Warbler 21 (Probably an under count)
Lark Sparrow 1
Rose-Breasted Grosbeak 2
Indigo Bunting 30+ (Easily more)
