[TN-Bird] Drakes Creek Greater Scaup, Red-breasted Merganser

I spent about 45 minutes scanning the upper portion of Drakes Creek (Old 
Hickory Lake) in Hendersonville this rainy Sunday morning from the pull-out 
along Sanders Ferry Rd as well as from Mallard Point Park.  There were several 
small rafts of Scaup on the lake, totalling approx. 90 birds.  Scanning through 
the ranks a couple of times yielded at least 18 Greaters (pretty even number of 
males and females) - really nice comparisons.  There were also 8 Red-breasted 
Mergansers (7 males, and one poor female getting lots of attention).   Also 
lots of Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gulls flying about.
