Dear TN-Birders:

The spring meeting is coming up fast!!! Remember that you only have =
until
April 9th to get your banquet fee sent in, so don't miss out on all the =
fun!
Keynote speaker Scott Weidensaul will be giving a presentation about =
bird
migration, based on his excellent book "Living On The Wind".

Registration will take place from 6:00 pm-9:30 pm on Friday April 30th =
at
the Reflection Riding Arboretum and Botanical Garden. This is a very =
nice
place to spend an evening and meet old (and new!) friends, so please =
join
us. There will be sign-up sheets for the field trips, maps of the area, =
and
other assorted goodies. Light refreshments will be served.

On the subject of field trips, we have trips scheduled May 1 & 2 to =
Craven's
House (songbirds) led by Kevin Calhoon, Brainerd Levee (shorebirds, =
wading
birds) led by Clyde Blum, and Standifer Gap Marsh (wading birds, rails) =
led
by David Patterson. There also be a Saturday-only (May 1) trip to Baylor
School (songbirds) led by Bonnie Johnson. All trips will leave from the
EconoLodge at 7:30 am. There will be a compilation for all birds seen =
over
the weekend on Sunday (May 2) at 11:30 am at the EconoLodge.

The TOS Board Meeting will be held at the University Center on the =
campus of
the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on Saturday, May 1, from =
12:00
pm-3:00 pm.

I want to thank all the members of the Chattanooga Chapter of TOS for =
all
their hard work and dedication in putting this meeting together. We hope =
to
see everyone in a few weeks!

David Aborn, President
Chattanooga Chapter
