Rankin Bottoms, Cocke county, & Leadvale, Jefferson county, 10/7/12, 3-6pm. by 
canoe
Elev: 981.8 - TVA has kept Douglas Lake in the 980 to 982 ft range for over 30 
days, eliminating the usual progressive mudflat exposure.  Falcon presence has 
also made the area less hospitable for shorebirds.
