The Sharp-tail sandpiper was seen at Ensley Bottoms yesterday at 5 PM. We were unable to locate the bird this afternoon. Directions: Take Exit 7 off I 55 onto Third St. (Rte. 61 South) At .7 miles at 1st stoplight, turn right (west) on Peebles Rd. Continue on Peebles through one stoplight and one 4-way stop. At 2.4 road swings to the left and changes name to Weaver. At 3.2 there is a 4-way stop. Turn right on Mitchell. Continue on Mitchell At 4.8 Mitchell ends. Turn left on Plant Road. At 5.8 there is a "T" intersection. Turn left on Riverport Rd. At.6.2 turn left on Buoy Rd. Go South through gates. Turn left at 6.6 The bird was last seen at the southern end of the last pond on the left.
