Hello all -
This is a general question about the correct terms for a Mourning Dove with
"dilute plumage." Is that accurate here? I know there is some debate on the
proper terms...See first 2 photos. At first the coloration strikes you as a
Eurasian Collared Dove, but in all ways it was identical to the others it was
with, all having normal coloration. It has been coming to my feeders since
early Dec.
The last photo is my token Fox Sparrow that showed up on a snowy day, Jan 16,
2018.
