Jon Mann was mistaken about the location of the Mourning Warbler and Warbling
Vireo at Radnor. The Warbling Vireo was heard from Otter Creek Rd. going up to
the spillway. While the Mouning was seen and heard at the same location as last
weeks Wednesday Walk about 50' left of the Cane Bridge. Thanks to Jon for
posting about the Connecticut Warbler around the west parking lot it was heard
singing most of the morning.

Rob Lane joined a group of TWRA personnel on a birding
refresher course led by Dr. Fred Alsop and Scott
Somershoe this morning.

The group located a singing Connecticut Warbler in the
west parking lot. The bird was about 8-10 feet off
the road, about 20 feet west of the road barrier.
The warbler was pished and briefly appeared. I went
and heard (but could not locate) the bird around noon.

Other warblers found by the group include Mourning (by
the ranger house), Wilson's, Blackpoll, Bay-breasted,
Hooded, Magnolia, Black-and-White, Tennessee,
Yellow-rumped, and Prothonotary.

A Bank Swallow was found along the spillway, as well
as a Warbling Vireo.
