[TN-Bird] Re: Connecticut Warbler, Radnor Lake

It was actually only seen by David Kirschke, and he actually saw it without
hearing it.  Frank Fekel and I and one other gentleman named Rick came along
later and (independently of David) heard it but didn't see it; by then it
was singing regularly but had moved at least 50 yards off the trail into a
very dense understory.
This is the peak time for this species to occur here, so anytime over the
next week would be a good time to search for one at Radnor or Shelby.  Make
sure you know the song and plan to be very, very patient, as this species,
more so than most warblers, can go maddeningly long periods of time without
vocalizing.
