Ths morning at 7 AM I located a singing Connecticut Warbler on the Lake Trail
at Radnor Lake. The bird was on the lake side of the trail just across from
one of the last benches before long bridge. I marked the bench with a small
vertical twig between the slats. It only sang a few times, but was easy to see
in a fairly open bush. Tape would probably improve chances for relocation. A
few other migrants remain there, Tennessee and Nashville Warblers were still
present. In Murfreesboro, a stubborn empid defied identification; it would not
respond to any empid tapes, remained silent, and I was never able to get
definitive views. I was trying hard to make it into Yellow-bellied, but not
sure. Will try to relocate it tomorrow. There was one singing Willow
Flycatcher at the Williamson County site off Hwy 96, but with the accession of
the habitat, this may be the swan song for that place.

Cheers
