[TN-Bird] Common Ground-Dove

On Saturday, in the northern part of Murfreesboro, I flushed a bird from a 
feeding station that I felt must have been a Common Ground-Dove.  This morning, 
I was able to confirm the ID, as the bird was seen at length.  It is coming to 
an area of cracked corn, which a friend of mine spreads over the ground to 
attract wildlife.  There are usually assorted ground-feeding birds around, 
along with deer, racoons, squirrels, etc.  A flock of Wild Turkeys stays in the 
area.  Unfortunately, the dove is extremely skittish, the area is difficult to 
access without flushing all the birds, and the owner is not a birder.  For the 
time being at least, this posting is for interest only.  This is one of only a 
few Middle Tennesee records, and may be the first for the Nashville area.
