There was an immature Common Gallinule at Lake Hiawatha this morning
(Sunday) among good numbers (~150) and variety of ducks (Ring-necked Duck,
Ruddy Duck, Wood Duck, Am. Wigeon, Gadwall, and Mallard). My only other
record for Common Gallinule in Cumberland County was an immature there last
year from October 19-23.

Lake Hiawatha is about a mile northeast of Lake Tansi in southern
Cumberland County. It's listed as Byrd Creek Reservoir on Google Maps. GPS:
35.8765, -85.0508.

This morning Lake Tansi mainly had coots and Pied-billed Grebes.
