Hi folks, Great Smoky Mountains National Park - mostly North Carolina side. This is just outside Tennessee, but I'm reporting because I believe this would be a first breeding record this far south. You may recall that a North Carolina birder reported a Yellow-rumped Warbler along the Clingman's Dome paved trail this week. I went up today (Friday) and look for 2 hours, but I did not find the bird. Species I did find: Great Blue Herons - flying WAY up over the top of Andrews Bald.
