Saturday, April 5, Gary Casey and I birded along the Harpeth River and
Montgomery Bell State Park in Cheatham and Dickson counties. Each stop we
made produced the singing triumvirate of L. Waterthrush, Yellow-throated
Warbler, and N. Parula. We also had some Cliff Swallows at a bridge, and a
N. Rough-winged Swallow nest with 5 eggs on a little ledge of a concave cliff
at the Narrows of the Harpeth.

It was great to hear those warblers again.
