The Chattanooga chapter of TOS will have it's monthly meeting at 7:00 PM this
Thursday evening ( March 9 ) at Ascension Lutheran Church, 729 South Germantown
Rd in East Ridge, Tn. 37412. The program will be presented by Mel Vandergriff.
Mel just recently retired recently as the manager of a Wildbirds Unlimited
store in Chattanooga. His program will be on "The Biggest Week In Birding".
There will be colorful pictures of most of the warblers and other birds that
migrate through Magee Marsh and the surrounding areas by Lake Erie in northwest
Ohio in mid-May every year. This is a wonderful place to go observe the
warblers. Many times you get to see them only a few feet away. Even if you
don't see yourself going to Magee Marsh anytime in the near future, you can
brush up on your warbler ID from Mel's program. Feel free to bring guest.
