The Chattanooga CBC was held on Saturday December 19th. Twenty-two
participants observed 94 species. Highlights included:
2 Redhead
1 Great Egret
2 Virginia Rail (Standifer Gap)
207 Sandhill Crane
2 American Woodcock
1 Orange-crowned Warbler
6 Palm Warbler
2 Purple Finch
2 Pine Siskin
2 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers (two separate locations, Standifer Gap and near
Chester Frost County Park) Not seen in count in many years.
Misses:
Barred Owl
American Pipit
Fox Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Eastern Meadowlark
